3. PAYMENT TERMS & AUTOPAY
All recurring memberships are billed through automatic recurring payments using the payment method on file.
Recurring membership payments are automatically drafted on the 1st of each month. Each monthly payment covers membership services for that calendar month.
By enrolling in a recurring membership, you authorize J-FIT to charge your payment method on file for your agreed membership fees until cancellation becomes effective under Section 4.
Members are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method. Failed or overdue payments may result in suspension or termination of services. A failed payment does not constitute a cancellation request.
No refunds will be issued for unused sessions or membership time, except as required by applicable law.
4. MEMBERSHIP CHANGES & CANCELLATION POLICY
Membership Changes & Downgrades
Requests to downgrade a membership—including reducing training frequency, moving to a lower-priced membership, or removing a recurring membership add-on—must be submitted in writing by email or delivered in writing to J-FIT management.
A minimum of 30 days’ written notice is required. The notice period begins when J-FIT receives the written request. Downgrades take effect on the first monthly billing date on or after completion of the 30-day notice period.
The member’s current membership rate, payment obligations, and benefits remain in effect until the downgrade becomes effective. Changes are not applied retroactively, and no prorated refunds or credits will be issued, except as required by applicable law.
Example: A downgrade request received October 15 takes effect December 1. The November 1 payment remains at the current membership rate.
Minimum Commitment After a Downgrade
A member who downgrades agrees to maintain the downgraded membership for at least four consecutive full monthly billing cycles beginning on the downgrade’s effective date. All four scheduled monthly payments remain due.
Cancellation notice may be submitted during this commitment; however, cancellation cannot become effective until both the four-cycle minimum commitment and the two-full-billing-cycle cancellation notice requirement have been satisfied.
Example: A downgrade effective December 1 requires membership payments for December, January, February, and March. The earliest cancellation effective date is April 1, provided the required cancellation notice has been satisfied.
J-FIT will provide written confirmation of the downgraded membership rate, effective date, and minimum commitment end date.
Cancellation Notice
Membership cancellations must be submitted in writing by email or delivered in writing to J-FIT management.
A minimum of two full monthly billing cycles’ written notice is required for recurring memberships, subject to applicable law and any different terms expressly stated in the member’s signed agreement.
For purposes of this policy, each billing cycle runs from the 1st through the last day of the calendar month. The notice period includes the first two complete billing cycles beginning on or after J-FIT receives the written request. A partial month does not count as a full billing cycle.
Effective Cancellation Date & Final Payment
Cancellation takes effect on the 1st of the month following completion of the two required full billing cycles, or after any applicable minimum commitment has been completed, whichever is later.
Scheduled monthly payments remain due during the notice period and any applicable minimum commitment. Members retain their membership benefits through the last day of their final paid month. No membership payment is due on the effective cancellation date.
Example: A cancellation request received October 15 requires the November and December billing cycles to be completed. The final payment is December 1, membership access continues through December 31, and cancellation takes effect January 1, provided no minimum commitment remains.
Additional Cancellation Terms
Promotional pricing, discounts, and grandfathered membership rates are forfeited upon cancellation and cannot be reinstated.
Members should retain a copy of their written request and confirm receipt with J-FIT. J-FIT will provide written confirmation of the final payment date and last day of membership.
Failure to attend sessions or classes does not constitute cancellation or remove payment obligations.
Membership freezes are governed separately by Section 13.
5. SESSION & CLASS POLICIES
